ADC mourns Amaechi’s mother
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has expressed condolences to its vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, following the death of his mother, Mrs. Mary Amaechi.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC also sympathised with the entire Amaechi family over the loss of their matriarch.
The party described the late Mary Amaechi as a loving mother whose guidance, sacrifices and strength helped shape generations.
“A mother’s influence reaches far beyond the walls of her home. It is reflected in the values she imparts, the sacrifices she makes, and the lives she leaves better than she found them. While the pain of such a loss cannot be measured, we hope the Amaechi family will find comfort in a life well lived, in cherished memories, and in the prayers of millions of Nigerians who mourn with them today.
“On behalf of our National Chairman, Senator David Mark, GCON, the National Working Committee and members of our great party across the country, we pray that Almighty God grants Mrs. Mary Amaechi eternal rest and grants her family strength, comfort and peace in the days ahead,” the statement read.
